Case study - bench marking
Curio was approached by the founder of a 200+ architecture practice looking at making change in their internal structures enabling clearer defined pathways for their architects, gaining clarity on roles, levels and creating new positions to open up further opportunities.
We conducted a global survey of 25 leading practices understanding what titles meant to each practice, the different types of titles in practices and the skills, characteristics, strengths required for such roles.
We gathered together a global market map, heard from individuals the strengths and weaknesses of the structures of roles in their studios. We learned about the development structures - what worked and what didn’t, who were successful and who were supporting their teams.
This opportunity illustrated the awareness of improvement, the need to improve and insight to successful companies on how to retain and keep their employees motivated, happy and engaged.
