JOB SUMMARY:

This opportunity is for profiles with a background in architecture, project or development management in high-end residential sector. You'll join a specialist multidisciplinary team whose passion is working on prestigious high-end luxury design projects for UHNWIs. This is a new appointment to the team.

You will be responsible for bringing together consultant teams of design excellence for project values between £1-£50million+ for UHNWIs in London and the home counties – a mix of refurbishment, listed and new build. This role is instrumental to support the business while managing the day-to-day affairs of the office and overseeing all projects. The business is in a significant stage of growth looking to develop from existing projects in London and the home counties to across Europe and the USA over the next 3-5 years.

This company outsources the design to external partners - they act as the client representative throughout the process. The majority of work is focused on feasibility studies, proposals and forming pre-construction teams.  They appoint world class designers on behalf of their clients. Their clients are high-profile (U)HNWI's and require strong written, spoken, articulate English and a level of discretion and confidentiality.

A part of this role is to strategise and grow the business with the team, this would suit entrepreneurial mindsets and those with strong business acumen. Ideal profiles are those who have a wide understanding of real estate, ideally in high-end residential and want to spread their wings in building a successful business in a dynamic firm. It is a career-defining opportunity for architects looking to step away from the drawing board to be fully pre-construction focused. Alternatively, current, project managers/directors or development managers who are looking to be a part of all decision-making, strategy and business-wide decisions would enjoy this role

Responsibilities

- support the director of projects to identify opportunities, presenting new ideas, policies, and procedures to support the growth of the business

- spearhead the office, overseeing a team of 2 (3+ in future)

-creating and developing well-informed client relationships to deliver excellent levels of service

-able to sell/pitch and present

- manage client relationships from initial client contact through project launch to day-to-day client

- analyse client- and project-needs as part of project-team assembly

- align/match suppliers with appropriate clients and projects

- detail and create deliverables for clients in line with the agencies established procedures, policies, and fee analysis

Experience and skills

- worked as an architect, interior designer or interior architect for 6+ years+ post qualification or be a project/development manager

- demonstrable sales and influential characteristics

- detailed knowledge of design styles\

- a solid contact base within the property project industry

- understanding of the high-end property industry

- strong knowledge of the processes and inputs involved in high-end residential construction and refurbishment projects
- bring extensive project management experience

- knowledge of all RIBA stages

- the ability to manage work streams on numerous projects concurrently

- excellent client relationship and client-facing skills

Office 4 days per week/ 1 day wfh
