The client relationship director is a senior and executive level role, overseeing 3 individual properties for 3 separate HWNIs, of value of up to $100-$200million+
JOB SUMMARY:
The client relationship director will work for a London consultancy who have a 17-year legacy of providing HNWIs with the best service and appointing world-class designers and experts for their properties up to the value of £ 50 million. The role is based in London and may require international travel.
The client relationship director is a senior and executive level role, overseeing 3 individual properties for 3 separate HWNIs, of value of up to $100-$200million+ in construction value, each being between 100,000-300,000 sqft in the Middle East. The developer would like to have the projects completed by 2026. After these 3 projects, there is a pipeline of further projects across the EMEA region.
This is the team's first project in the Middle East working alongside the developer of the wider masterplan. The client relationship director will be the client contact throughout the duration of the project reporting to, the CEO and founder, reporting back to the operations director.
TASKS:
The role will be supported by a project director, who is architecturally trained to support technical know-how and industry knowledge. The client relationship director will be responsible for making sure client requirements are understood and a project brief has been formed. Alongside the client team, each of the 3 properties will have its own individual consultant team consisting of architects, interior designers, and any specialists required as part of the design process. The role is working with the developer who will be delivering the project – this is focused on the procurement for the interiors overseeing and guiding the HNWI. The client relationship director will be the main point of contact for the HNWIs throughout the process.
The client relationship director should be able to advise the client on how to align design partners to the HNWIs individual tastes. You will oversee this process and align the ideal interiors and all design teams to the client's requirements and personalities. The architects have been appointed, this role will manage the interiors, lighting, AV, artwork, landscaping etc. You’ll be working/sourcing the world’s best. The role will condense sourced options and present them to the HNWI – the project director (support) will take on a lot of the resourcing work for this.
The client relationship director will oversee all the tendering of all design partners and ensure the client has the best team available to meet the needs of the HNWI’s brief. The role will involve travel to where design partner studios may be based. All design partners will respond to a strong design brief and be prepped to interview and present with the HNWI. The client relationship director will work closely with the operations director based in Middle East reporting on the status of the projects and will receive information from the operations director from the developer on the project.
YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
The role focuses on service, presenting and hand-holding HNWIs through the design, development and building of their properties. The role requires a profile who may need to take clients to events like Freize Art, Art Basel, or accompany HNWIs to exclusive restaurant spots in London. A profile that is worldly, and widely cultured would be best to support exceptionally educated, discerning and highly confidential clients.
Flawless presentation skills and knowledge of super-prime property are essential for this role. Profiles who have had exposure to HNWIs will be best suited. This is a private residential over a commercial asset.
Profiles may be architects, interior designers or project managers or have come from a family office and have strong knowledge of residential. This role is suitable for candidates who have experience in super prime properties for over 20+ years.
