An opportunity for a project manager to join a super-prime residential property consultancy and travel globally
JOB SUMMARY:
The project manager will be overseeing 3 individual residential properties - value of up to $100-$200million+ in construction value, each being between 100,000-300,000 sqf in KSA. The employer is a British firm based in London, their client is based in KSA.
This is the firm's first residential project in the middle east working alongside the developer of the wider masterplan. The project director will be the client contact for the HNWI owner of the property throughout the duration of the project reporting to the client relationship director, and reporting back to the operations director based in KSA. The role requires warmth and strong relationship-building skills to guide HNWIs through their projects.
TASKS:
Define, monitor and maintain control of the scope of work and services for the project including the project schedule and work plan
Writing minutes
Create engaging and beautifully curated presentations
Making sure information is captured and reported and shared to all parties succinctly
Act as the main coordinator of communication between the client team and operations team, ensuring timely resolution of client concerns and management of business issues including contracts, the scope of work, deliverables, finance and additional services.
Insures the orderly and complete preparation, distribution, and retention of all project written records.
Responsible for the clear and timely communication of information to the project team and ensuring compliance with the project team’s goals.
Assures a positive teamwork atmosphere and assists in supporting the development of the team.
Monitors the performance of the projects, project team and approach to assure that the Firm’s quality standards and design goals are being met.
Coordinate staffing resources in accordance to project needs.
Establishes maintains, and documents regular client meetings and internal project team meetings.
Initiate, document, and maintain project set-up, including contract review, project process and filing procedures, work authorization, invoicing/receivables
Responsible for meeting or exceeding the financial goals established for the projects and providing timely and appropriate information to Project Accountant to initiate invoicing.
Direct contact responsibility with clients and associated consultants to ensure timely collections and management of delinquent accounts receivables.
Monitor client issues and technical issues to minimize liability.
Responsible for the orderly close out of deadlines including contractual requirements.
Participate in marketing opportunities and facilitate multi-discipline/office collaboration within the firm
Develop and maintain successful client relationships for repeat business
Participates in training/development/mentoring of the project team
Book flights, arrange travel plans
YOUR REQUIREMENTS:
Creative degree education - architecture/interior design or a passion for interior design and architecture.
1-5 years post graduation work experience.
Portfolio of work demonstrating an understanding of the high-end and super-prime property sector.
A knowledge of the processes and inputs involved in high-end residential construction and refurbishment projects.
Creative thinker around project improvements and processes.
Hands-on with a strong attention to detail.
Team player - willing to undertake different tasks and responsibilities, as required by the business.
Strong IT skills - advanced in Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe In-Design.
Excellent design skills in producing presentations.
Strong, confident communicator who is able to convey information about projects, and project performance to senior staff and clients.
Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Experience of working with senior-level management.
This role requires regular global travel.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
